Global Outreach Missions Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization registered in Washington state and is designed to provide avenues and opportunities for the individual, as well as corporate and Christian organizations, to be involved in spiritual and humanitarian efforts around the globe. Through cooperative, compassionate endeavors, GO Missions is helping nationals evangelize, educate, enable, equip, and exhort their people to enhance their lives and the lives of others.

Our Plan

The Beginning

Global Outreach Missions was established by Faith Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington after seeing firsthand the numerous needs around the world through several mission trips in which the Pastor, staff, and many members of the church participated. Burdened by this need, and desiring to help, Faith Baptist Church established Global Outreach Missions — a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation capable of registering in foreign countries as a Non-Government Organization (NGO). With NGO status and operation centers on the continents of Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America, GO Missions can reach those in need around the world.

The Operation

GO Missions is governed by a Board of Directors, which work together to determine the course and direction our efforts will take regarding fields, facilities, finances, and further development. GO Missions maintains Field Directors on each continent in which the agency labors. These directors observe the needs of the people in their area, present those needs to the Board of Directors, and manage the donations and resources allocated to meet those needs.

The Purpose

There are many people in need, and many around the world who desire to help meet those needs. Our goal is to bring the two together. By providing materials and teachers to educate people, we can improve their lives and the lives of those around them. By supplying much-needed tools and instruction, we can equip them to build and farm efficiently in order to provide for their families. By sending medical teams and supplies, we can help enable them to live longer, healthier lives.

Our Staff

  • Pastor Mark Smith President/Chairman

    Mark Smith has been the Senior Pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington for 20 years. He is the founder of GO Missions, and leads our team with his unique global vision and passion.

  • Daniel Kirchner Vice President

    Daniel Kirchner serves as the Associate Pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington. He provides logistical planning and support for the GO Missions team, and is responsible for our website and corporate image.
  • Jamie Shay Treasurer

    Jamie Shay is the newest member of the GO Missions team. She provides oversight for all GO Missions funds and transactions, as well as all necessary financial reports and accountings.
  • Dale Oaks Secretary

    Dale Oaks is currently serving as a Deacon at Faith Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington. He provides GO Missions board meeting agendas and oversees the recording of meeting minutes and corporate documentation.
